Mona Lisa Cafe in Sanur

Tasteless food... nothing Italian except for the name

Great little restaurant, had dinner here twice on this holiday. Lovely friendly staff and great food at reasonable prices. Good selection of wines and other drinks, all served nice and cold!

Having early dinner for my birthday and they forgot to serve the dessert. Been waiting for 20 minutes and when I asked they said "sorry we forgot" and the dessert came after another 15 minutes waiting. We ordered Monalisa Dream which has sliced strawberries that taste slightly like garlic.

I’ve been coming to Bali for over 30 years and this Restaurant is always top notch.They start by giving you complimentary bread with salsa and pesto, bite size and excellent tasting.Tonight I had the prawn cocktail and it was delicious and great plating up.Then I had Cordon Blue with mash and vegetables very very good.Lovely staff and very well laid out. It’s opposite Starbucks on the restaurant drag.I’ll be back thanks guys!

We love going to Mona Lisa, nice place to sit,staff very attentive but not annoyingly, food first class, you get a little appetizer to start with..recommend it ..

I have visited Mona Lisa over the years and always find the food and service to be excellent. Nice variety on the menu.

The worse experience at Bali ( this time was 4th trip). Arrogant service, limited boring menu, we preferred to walk away. My suggestion anywhere but not in this joint.

Great food from around asia and europe all freshly cooked and served by friendly staff. Eat there several times and did not have a bad meal and the beef rendang was the best I had in Sanur. Now just need to book another holiday to Bali.

Looks like a very regular restaurant, but the menu is great. The quality of the service is at the top. Had a red snapper there and it was great, was very fresh and nicely cooked and served.

More Indonesian food than Italian but it was amazing and thecsrevice was great .Highly recommend this Restaurant.

I ate twice in this restaurant .. Excellent service , atmosphere and friendly staff. Dishes that I ordered on the first and the second day served very aesthetically and very tasty.

Average food and average service. We came here based on reviews but we were a little underwhelmed. Staff were friendly but unfortunately were let down by being more concerned about extra things to wash rather than giving an extra plate to enable kids to share entres and not wanting to replace cutlery. Avoid the bruschetta as they use near stale white rolls that were not toasted enough. The spagetti bolagnaise had large pieces of fat mixed in the meat and the taste was not the greatest. The bbq ribs were ok but nothing special. There are other restaurants nearby where I would go before here.

Service was perfect. Didn't have to wait forever for menu drinks or food. Had the snapper wrapped in bacon and it was delicious. Others at the table had tuna with dill sauce, ginger honey chicken..the latter two were specials. Winner was the tuna cooked rare! Best on our trip. Nice complimentary toast with bruchetta. Had the banana chocolate crepes for dessert...yum!

The cafe is overrated. The food was average. You can find better place with cheaper prices

Open early, good food and good price

Not a very good experience. The wait staff was not unfriendly but not very thoughtful as well. The spring rolls were nice as an entree but the honey cashew chicken was very plain and underseasoned. I think I could do it better myself.. Slow service even though the restaurant was half empty. Would not recommend.

Very friendly and competent service people. A good selction of drinks and food. The meals were very tasty, copious and delicious. A very enjoyable evening with no rush to finish, even thoughthey were very busy.

Excellent staff and great food.Have been here some 10 times this and last year and was always surprised by the kind staff and good food.If you like Indonesian dishes (try the satay, you will get a small bbq on your table to keep the chicken satay warm) or international dishes, everything tastes great. Only the male toilets could use an upgrade.Prices for food and drinks are low.Kitchen is open, so you can check the hygiene yourself, looks fine to me.

We came there at 22:05 and they told us they closed. On info they work until 23:00

Nice, affordable Western food with generous portion. Consider ordering in advance as waiting time could be long during peak hours.

We have dined here multiple times over multiple trips to Sanur Bali,Mona Lisa never fails to please, My wife and I had the Ribs, They were delicious, well seasoned and the meat literally fell of the bone. The service was as usual perfect, We highly recommend you try Mona Lisa for yourself.
